The Canadian Taxpayers Federation called for an end to tax-free status for Indian reserves. On the site of Sonshine Car Wash and Gas, they publicized the $54 million in tobacco taxes and $15 million in fuel taxes forfeited to Saskatchewan reserve businesses every year.
